Busche and Yoder Industries

Yoder Industries out of Dayton, Ohio an Aluminum and Zinc Die Casting organization, has selected Busche to supply the necessary machining requirements to an Aluminum Steering Assist Cover used in the new K2XX platform which replaced the GMT900 program. The Steering Assist Cover will be used in GMC's 1500 series and Chevrolet Silverado trucks along with GMC Yukon and Chevrolet's Suburban and Tahoe SUV's. The one part number will require three Horizontal Machining Centers along with a wash and leak testing procedure. The three shift operation will manufacture 828,000 pieces annually commencing in the Spring of 2012. The steering assist cover program will create nine jobs at Busche, Albion, IN.

Busche began machining Flanges and Brackets for Yoder Industries in 2010. Dennis Snively, Estimating Manager noted, "We are very pleased Yoder is once again placing it's confidence in Busche's safety critical machining expertise."
