BUSCHE
LANDS ADDITIONAL WORK FROM NEW CUSTOMER "GENERAL ALUMINUM" 120,000 Aluminum Rear Trailing Arms/year creating six new jobs in Albion, IN July 17, 2009 Maintaining your financial and operational reputation in the market place is a very valuable asset that Nick A. Busche, CEO/ President of BUSCHE, Albion, IN takes very serious. In these tough economic times, with many of his competitors in financial distress, Busche has found himself on the road more than normal seeing that the name BUSCHE, and the quality CNC production machining that it represents is at the top of the list when customers have machining needs. BUSCHE recently became acquainted with General Aluminum after the company heard of BUSCHE'S superior workmanship and sterling customer service from other foundries that BUSCHE provides value added machining for their products. General Aluminum a Division of Park Ohio, came to Busche with an immediate need for two - 500 millimeter CNC Mills to handle the machining needs for Rear Trailing Arms for General Motors. With BUSCHE's reputation as a supplier that has the man power and experience of launching work in relatively short times, General Aluminum made the call and was pleasantly surprised to learn that the Busche team would have the jobs up and running in three weeks, beginning production in August. The quick transition was critical to the General Aluminum team as this program is a takeover job from a financially distressed company. BUSCHE is known in the industry for providing successful launches in relatively short times even with items as critical as the rear trailing arms. The Busche Engineering team and Quality Department have a strict regiment in place to assure that all issues are addressed and evaluated for the entire project to assure a successful launch and PPAP in the desired time table. Don Tyler, President of General Aluminum, was in Albion this week, to review the progress being made. He was reassured that his team had made the right choice in selecting BUSCHE for the Rear Trailing Arms. Tyler commented that BUSCHE was one of the best machining facilities that he has had the opportunity to visit and was looking forward to expanding the relationship with the Busche Team. The three year contact represents the machining and assembly of 120,000 assemblies per year for General Aluminum and will require an additional six more operators at Busche's facilities in Albion.
